In the event of an accident, please promptly follow the three procedures below. These include important steps necessary for the application of insurance and compensation, so be sure to complete all three.
(1) Aid for the injured
First, provide aid to the injured. Then promptly move the rental car to a location where it will not obstruct other traffic.
(2) Reporting and notifying the police
Both the perpetrator and the victim are required to report the accident to the police. An accident certificate will be needed later, so please complete the necessary procedures.

Yes, it is necessary. At our company, regardless of the size of the scratch or dent or the presence of another party, it is considered an “accident.”
Even if you are unsure, please follow the prescribed procedures mentioned above.
(If the necessary procedures are not followed, insurance and compensation cannot be applied, and it will be the customer’s responsibility.)
Additionally, please note that as part of the operational compensation during the repair period, we will charge the following amount regardless of the extent of the damage or the time required for repairs.
Non-Operation Charge (NOC) 50,000 yen
(regardless of whether the car is drivable or not)
If the breakdown is due to a problem with our maintenance, we will deliver another rental car to you.
We will provide the car with a full tank of gasoline, so please return it with a full tank.
